Copyright and Complaints

Reporting an infringement
If you believe an avatar, a picture or a file on VTubeMe infringes your copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy, email support@vtubeme.com with the subject "Rights complaint" and include:
- your name, postal address, email and, if you act for someone else, who you represent;
- the work or right you say is infringed, and where the material is on VTubeMe (a URL, an avatar id, a conversion id);
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We act on legally sufficient notices: we may restrict access to the material, we inform the account holder and give them the chance to respond, and we accept counter-notices where the law provides for them. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Generated avatars are private to the account that made them; a complaint is usually about a file that was uploaded, so the record we keep is the upload and the acceptance the person gave before it.
Privacy and likeness
If a photo of you was uploaded without your consent, write to the same address with the details above; we treat it as a privacy complaint and respond within the time the law allows.
