Separate from avatar downloads, and only needed for two things: converting an FBX character to VRM, and downloading a polygon-reduced model from the optimizer. Viewing a VRM, compressing textures and checking your VRChat rank stay free and unlimited.

Yes. Creating, customizing, and previewing your avatar in 3D is completely free. You only pay when you download.
$7.99 one-time per avatar. This includes VRM + GLB files, lifetime access, re-edit rights, and commercial use.
No. VTubeMe uses simple pay-per-avatar pricing. $7.99 once per avatar, forever. No subscriptions.
Yes. Once purchased, you have lifetime access to re-edit and re-download your avatar at no extra cost.
Two files: a .vrm and a .glb of the same avatar. The VRM is rigged with a humanoid skeleton and carries the blendshapes VTubing apps use for expressions and lip sync. The GLB is the same model in a plain glTF container for general 3D tools.
Adjust it and regenerate as many times as you like — that all happens before any payment. This is the reason previewing is free: you decide whether it is worth $7.99 while looking at the finished result, not before.
Yes. Commercial use is included, so streaming, sponsorships and merchandise are all covered by the one-time payment.
The viewer is free and unlimited, and so are texture compression and the VRChat rank checker in the optimizer. Two actions cost a credit: converting an FBX and downloading a polygon-reduced model. Credits are separate from avatar downloads — packs of 3 for $7.99 or 8 for $14.99 — and a failed conversion is refunded automatically.
