Make a VNyan Avatar From a Selfie

VNyan is a free, plugin-rich VTubing app that runs VRM avatars with face and hand tracking, props, and deep Twitch integrations. VTubeMe turns one selfie into a VNyan-ready VRM — photorealistic and rigged, no 3D skills. Create and preview for free; download your VRM + GLB for a one-time $7.99.

VNyan avatar FAQ

Does VNyan support VTubeMe avatars?
Yes. VNyan loads standard VRM files, and VTubeMe exports a .vrm you can import directly.
Is VNyan free?
Yes, VNyan is free. You only pay VTubeMe $7.99 once to download your avatar (lifetime access).
Can I use hand tracking?
Yes — VNyan supports webcam, ARKit, and Leap Motion, and your VTubeMe VRM is fully rigged for it.
Where do I download VNyan?
From Suvidriel's official itch.io page or Steam — the app is free on both. The source link is below; skip third-party download sites.
I loaded my VRM but VNyan shows an empty scene
The model almost certainly loaded — VNyan sometimes places a freshly imported VRM outside the visible area, usually below it, so the scene looks empty. Drag upward in the viewport to pull the avatar into frame, then re-center it. This is a known VNyan positioning quirk with VRM files in general, not a problem with the file itself: if the avatar previews correctly in our VRM viewer, it is fine.
