ChilloutVR avatar FAQ

Does ChilloutVR support VRM avatars?
ChilloutVR uses its own Unity-based Creation Kit (CCK) rather than loading .vrm directly, but a VRM is a great starting point: import it into Unity, add a CVRAvatar component, and upload. VTubeMe gives you a clean standard VRM to convert.
Why are the shoulders deformed after upload?
Set Project Settings → Quality → Skin Weights to “4 Bones”. MetaPerson-style rigs use 4 bone weights per vertex, and Unity's 2-bone default drops the extras, distorting the shoulders.
How much does it cost?
ChilloutVR is free and Unity plus the CCK are free. VTubeMe charges $7.99 once per avatar download, with commercial use and lifetime re-edits included.
